‘YOUNG & GOSPEL’ GETS GREENLIGHT FROM OWN NETWORK

An all-new gospel-based unscripted series featuring gospel artists is headed to OWN. The network recently announced that ‘Young & Gospel’ will chronicle the lives of singers Bri Babineaux, Jekalyn Carr, Koryn Hawthorne and Christian rapper, Wande. In addition, the series will allow a look into how the four artists–ranging in age from 23 to 26–pursue their dreams while staying true to their ideals. While still in the early stages of production, ‘Young & Gospel’ will eventually be added to OWN’s weekend lineup and is produced by Thinkfactory Media, an ITV America company.
